EMWPC was selected as architect to help transform this former railroad freight station into a viable commercial property. Located in Manhattanville adjacent to the Henry Hudson parkway, this property had been vacant for over 15 years and was in utter decay.

The restoration of this building involved salvaging the core brick walls, floors and internal columns and replacing the windows, roof and all exterior design elements. In addition to the traditional architectural services, EMWPC obtained authorizations from multiple city agencies and negotiated leases ensuring that ample parking was available.

As the building began to be rented, EMWPC worked with the building’s tenants to renovate their leased spaces and provide interior design services.
